Repair Sans
Repair Sans is derrived from an awning I found in downtown Berkeley that caught my eye. The characters are hand painted with obvious care, possibly with a square brush. Upon close inspection, the letters have a lot of inconsistencies and imperfections, which I found charming. The alphabet is built out from the 10 pre-existing letters ('A B E G I L P R S T') The inconsistent charm is preserved by creating stylistic alternatives for certain letters.
